Meditation Class is held every Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Seattle Meditation Center
SEATTLE MEDITATION CENTER
Seattle Meditation Center ( hereinafter referred to SMC), in 2003. SMC became a non-profit religious organization registered in the State of Washington and is one of the 19 United States branches of Dhammakaya temple in Thailand. The word, 'Dhammakaya is a Pali word meaning body of dhamma' or the body of enlightenment. The Denomination is dedicated to teaching and promoting Buddhist religious practices and to restore harmony to the world through inner peace. SMC was first registered as the Washington Meditation Center on January 17. 2003 but renamed to Seattle Meditation Center in June 2005. The Temple has over 150 members.

Weekly Activities
SUNDAY SERVICE FOR LAY PEOPLE

From Monday through Saturday, 8:30 am to 10:00 am and 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm are reserved for prayer and meditation.

Sunday is a day of worship at the SMC meditation begins at 9:30 am; food offering ceremony at 10:45 am; alms offering ceremony at 11:00 am; and Buddhist services from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

On 1st Saturdays from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, the Buddhist Ceremony and Meditation is simultaneously held in conjunction with the Dhammakaya Temple in Thailand.
